The galerie laurent mueller opened its doors in October 2010 and closed definetely in July 2016. During these years its main ambition was working together with young artists to promote their work in France and abroad through a programme including solo exhibitions;curated group shows of own and invited artists.
The further goal of the gallery was to enable an exchange between artists, their ideas, their cultures and their styles through confrontation and dialogue.
A series of catalogue publications to accompany each exhibition was launched in summer 2011. Finally, a project room was established in spring 2014 where curators were invited to organise monthly exhibitions around the notion of a residential/domestic setting.
